Itinerary
Day 1 – Marrakech / Imlil – Tizi n’Tamatert – Tacheddirt
Pick up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech and transfer to Imlil, a charming Berber village at 1,740m. Begin your trek toward Tacheddirt (2,300m) via the Tizi n’Tamatert pass (2,279m).
The route offers panoramic views over terraced valleys, Berber villages, and pine forests. Arrive at Tacheddirt in time to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Accommodation is in a local gîte or tented camp during summer.

Day 2 – Tacheddirt – Imnane Valley – Imsker
Descend from Tacheddirt through the Imnane Valley, a lush corridor dotted with Berber villages, cultivated terraces, and flowing streams. You’ll pass through Ounskra, Tamguiste, Ikkis, Amssakrou, and Arg, observing daily life in these mountain communities.
Enjoy a field picnic along the way before reaching Imsker (1,300m), where you’ll stay overnight in a traditional gîte or tent camp. This day provides an intimate look at rural Atlas culture.

Day 3 – Imsker – Tizi Oussem via Tizi n’Lbour Pass
Today’s hike takes you from Imsker (1,300m) up to Tizi Oussem (1,900m), passing the Tizi n’Lbour Pass (1,500m) and the Imlil Valley. Cross the Tizi n’Tacht pass (2,000m) and descend to the Ait Aissa village in Azzaden Valley, enjoying terraced fields, walnut groves, and panoramic mountain views.
Arrive at Tizi Oussem for overnight accommodation in a gîte, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing evening in a traditional Berber setting.

Day 4 – Tizi Oussem – Ighouliden Waterfalls – Tizi Mzik Pass – Imlil
Start your day trekking to the Ighouliden Waterfalls (2,400m), a hidden gem tucked into the Azzadene Valley. Continue to Tizi Mzik Pass (2,450m), offering a final sweeping view of the High Atlas and surrounding Berber villages.
Descend back to Imlil (1,740m), where your trek concludes. Transfer back to Marrakech and enjoy a well-deserved evening exploring the city or relaxing at your Riad.
