2. Booking & Confirmation
- Deposit Requirement: A designated deposit payment is required to initiate and secure your booking.
- Confirmation: Your reservation is officially confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit. Following successful payment processing, you will receive an official booking confirmation and detailed itinerary.
- Payment Terms: Full settlement of the remaining balance is due prior to or upon arrival, as specified in your booking confirmation invoice.
3. Client Responsibilities & Conduct
- Fitness & Preparedness: Participants are responsible for ensuring they possess an adequate level of physical fitness suitable for the chosen trekking or outdoor activities.
- Compliance with Instructions: Clients must strictly adhere to the safety instructions, guidelines, and decisions provided by our professional guides and tour leaders at all times.
- Cultural Respect: Travelers are expected to respect local customs, traditions, and communities throughout the duration of the trip.
- Documentation: Clients are solely responsible for carrying valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documentation for entry and travel within Morocco.
4. Travel Insurance
Active Treks Morocco strongly recommends that all travelers obtain comprehensive, international travel insurance prior to departure. Your policy should adequately cover:
- Trip cancellation and interruption
- Emergency medical expenses and evacuation
- Personal injury and accident coverage
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings and luggage
5. Health, Fitness, and Medical Disclosures
Participants must disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, physical limitations, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. This information is vital for your safety and allows our team to make necessary operational adjustments.
The Company reserves the right to deny participation if a medical condition poses an undue risk to the individual or the group.
6. Itinerary Modifications & Force Majeure
Adventure travel in remote regions involves inherent variables. Active Treks Morocco reserves the right to modify itineraries, routes, accommodations, or schedules without prior notice if necessitated by:
- Adverse weather conditions or natural events
- Safety concerns or political/civil developments
- Unforeseen operational challenges or Force Majeure events, including acts of God, strikes, government restrictions, or pandemics
7. Limitation of Liability
Active Treks Morocco acts as an adventure tour operator and coordinates services with third-party providers (such as transport, hotels, and local suppliers).
While we exercise utmost care and professionalism, the Company cannot be held liable for:
- Delays, schedule changes, or missed connections
- Personal injury, illness, property loss, or damage arising from circumstances beyond our direct control
- Events constituting Force Majeure
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Any legal disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco.
