Winter Toubkal 4 Days Trek – The Twin Peaks Challenge Climb the Highest Summits in North Africa  Day 1: Marrakech – Asni –Imlil- Toubkal Base camp : Pick up from your Hotel/Riad in Marrakech to Imlil where you will meet your berber team,Guide,cook,Then trek up to Toubkal Refuge via Aremd & the Mizane Valley You’ll head along the Mizane Valley towards Aremd village and the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. Trek overview : This scenic trek leads across three valleys of the High Atlas mountains. The diverse nature with a variety of flora and fauna offers a unique trekking experience with many fabulous views of the dozens of mountain peaks. Picnics at the plateaus are a part of it. The cultural heritage of the region will be explored during village walks observing the daily activities. Berber people are shy, they do not like to be the center of attention and interaction with foreigners is often complicated. Toubkal Ascent trek of 2 Days At 4,167m, Toubkal Summit   is the highest Peak in North Africa ( know by the roof of north africa) . The walk to the summit is challenging, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the panoramic view from he summit makes the hard walk worthwhile. With the start of the trek just a couple of hours drive from Marrakech, you can reach the summit and back within a week and still have time to explore the red city of  Marrakech.   Day 1: After a transfer to the little village of Imlil we begin our trek. Heading along the Mizane Valley, we first pass the village of Aremd and then onto the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch. We then continue east and by crossing the flood plains our route takes us along mule tracks and up into the high rocky cliffs above the valley. Crossing the river we eventually come to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims. Trek itinerary : This Popular trek includes Mount Toubkal ascent  4167M and walks past several ancient  Berber villages with a more detailed view on one village chosen according to personal preference. Besides wonderful views from the Toubkal Mountain, the green Ourika valley (Setti Fadma village) with a river cutting it in half is another hidden gem of this walk. The trek continues up to Tacheddirt pass (3200 m) offering a view over the majority of the Atlas summits. The adjacent village of the same name lies in the heart of Imnane valley where most of the trekking routes start. It leads over the Tizi Mzik (2500 m) and Toubkal National park with the Tamsoult waterfalls. The hike up the highest North African peak is just a cherry on top and a nice ending to the whole trek. Combined Toubkal and Sahara Trek

At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa. The hike to the summit is not really difficult, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the panoramic view from the summit makes the hard work forgotten. For climbing this mountain you need just 1.30min driving from the nearest city of Marrakech; then you arrive to Imlil 1740m  (Imlil is a small village in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains) from there, where you will meet your team, starts your hike.
