Trek Overview :  At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa. The 4 Days Toubkal Trek to the summit is challenging, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the panoramic view from he summit makes all the hard work worthwhile, This is a wonderful winter break to Climb Mt toubkal in Winter the spectacular Mountain the high Atlas of Morocco in North Africa in Winter conditions. The mountain is only around 40 miles to the south of Marrakech and on a clear day it can be clearly seen from the city and vice versa. 3 Days Trek  – Agelzim pass and Toubkal Ascent Trek itinerary : Day 1 : Marrakech to Azib Tamssoult Transfer from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains: 1:30 minute drive to Imlil (1740m), famous starting point for mountaineering trips. Discover the area and hike up to Tizi-n-Mezzik mountain pass (2489m). Enjoy the magic view of Imlil area and Azzaden valley. Field lunch prepared by our cook in the middle of a jeneper forest. After lunch, walk down the valley of Azzaden to the summer village of Tamssoult (2250m). Overnight in the refuge or camp. 5h walking. Day 2 : Azib Tamssoult to Toubkal refuge Walk along the river up to waterfall of Igholidn. Continue hiking up to Tizi-n-ougelzim mountain pass (3600m). Trek Kit List

Clothing & Foot wear and More : Mornings can be cold. However once the sun has risen the reflection off the snow can make it feel warm although there may well be a cooling wind on the more exposed faces and tops. The Toubkal mountain refuge has a fire but it doesn’t have much effect on the large open seating area and the bedrooms can be cold so a good sleeping bag is recommended. Base Layer – Preferably a synthetic wicking layer with a long sleeved top and long-johns. Fleece Jacket or Windstopper Down Jacket – This is not mandatory but if you have one (or have the budget for one) then it is recommended that you bring it. Underwear – Preferably synthetic as they dry quicker. Trousers – Fleece or synthetic / nylon or polyester. Avoid cotton they absorb moisture easily and thereby have a cooling effect. Waterproofs – Breathable waterproof jacket that has a good hood. Waterproof trousers can be of lighter weight than the top – it is recommended that they have a long/full length zip so you can put them on whilst still wearing boots/crampons. Suitable for families with kids, elderly people, the route itself is comfortable for a mule ride instead as well as for walking, cross scenic mountain pass & villages, enjoy an overview of a typical & authentic valley. Day 1: Marrakesh – Imi Oughlad – Tinzert : You’ll leave the vehicle on the road up towards Imlil at Imi Oughlad (1,450m) where you will meet your Berber muleteer and guide. Your first day will be an easier aclimatisation trek in the Ouirgane National Park. The terrain here is gentler with copper green soil and juniper trees. Ourika to imlil Trek of 3 Days  Regardless its relative proximity, each of the valleys differ the other. Due to the subsoil consisting of minerals and different compounds, they are of significant colours and soil, which subsequently affect the character of the human dwellings. An amazing trek across the two Berber valleys of the High Atlas Mountains leads from Imlil to Setti Fadma via Tizi n’Tacheddirt (3600m) and Ourika valley. The altitude allows for great panoramic views over the Toubkal National Park. The second part of the trek will be marked with a color change. Walking along the ancient houses made of mud and stones catching the glimpse of moments from the lives of locals will be altered with crossing the juniper field-like plains. The valleys are linked by gorges and constant proves of human presence shaping the environment – terraced fields with vegetable, walnut trees and apple orchards belonging to every village.
