Toubkal and Sahara Trek of 5 Days Overview : At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal (4167m) is the highest mountain in North Africa. The hike to the summit is challenging, but it requires no mountaineering experience and the panoramic view from he summit makes the hard work worthwhile. After the High Atlas Mountain range lays a mysterious, surreal and stunning landscape. This is the heart of old Morocco – the pre Sahara desert. It’s like stepping back in time into an all forgotten world; a world of fortified villages, Berber castles (Kasbahs) and abandoned Foreign Legion outposts. Family Desert Trek 4 Days

Overview : Camel trekking in the Moroccan Sahara desert in 4 days. The tour starts from the red city of Marrakech to the village of Tamsahelte where our trek begins along the small Berber villages and plateau full of black stones. The first day we visit the neolithic rock carvings in Ait Ouazik and the next day we sleep in a berber tent in the middle of the dunes of Foum Tizza.  Trek itinerary : Day1– Marrakesh – Ouarzazate –  Tamsahelte We start from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate via Tizi n’Tichka, en route we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kashbas of Ait ben Haddou and Kasbah of Tourirt in ouarzazate In the town of Agdez we visit the Kasbah of Tamnougalt. After lunch we drive toTamsahelte along the Draa Valley where we spend the first night in a quiet village. Through fund raising and practical community work or service projects, you can help make a difference in a practical and visible way to the remote communities in the High Atlas Mountains. Our community projects are challenging, rewarding, great fun and bring you into contact with the hospitable and welcoming Berbers of the High Atlas Mountains here in Morocco. We will work with you to help you decide on a project to participate in which could include repairing footpaths and irrigation channels in the mountain villages, litter collection, engaging local children in play and craft projects. You may like to fund-raise or collect materials for a specific project before your trip, and spend your day in your chosen project area putting your efforts to good use.
