Atlas Day Trip Overview :

 

Visit of Imlil Valley: is a small village located at 1740m above the sea level & far from Marrakech about 64km & 1h30 driving, Snowy Atlas offers a spectacle looks magical.

Visit of Imnane Valley: The valleys are home to tiny hamlets and villages of the ethnic Berbers, a herding and farming community. Visit their homes and interact with them to know more about their traditions and customs. See their terraced fields of corn and barley and get a glimpse of their day to day living. …

Day Itinerary :

Day 1 : Marrakech –Imlil- Tinghrine –Marrakech.
At 8h00, Depart from Marrakech towards Imlil (1740m), point of departure for this trek, meet our team at 9h30 ( 1h30 drive) . Then start of walk toward Imnane Valley via the pass Tizi n’Tamaterte (2279m), panoramic views above two valleys ( Imlil valley & Imnane Valley ), go down to the village Tinghrine and take lunch near the river.
After the lunch you following the River and crossing many Berber villages, terraced culture. Arrival to the village Ikiss then turn left to go through the mountain pass of Aguerssioual 1900m, go down to valley, here you will meet you driver to pick you up to Marrakech.
6 to 7h walking.

You can Combine Mule Ride with this Trip . lunch is served inside a berber House & Mint Tea !!

+ During the winter, the high Atlas mountains can be cold, therefore, very warm   clothing should be worn during these months. During the summer, the         Mountains are refreshingly cool – compared to the temperature in Marrakech!
